Two-Part Inventions

A collection of wonderful and expressive pieces called Two-Part Inventions for the Piano. Though unreleased in his lifetime, these were composed by Bach as a teaching method for his son Wilhelm Friedemann, and exhibit the melodic quality and flawless formal construction that is synomous with his best works. The pieces offer an ideal opportunity to develop articulation, rhythm, fingering, phrasing, ornamentation and a singing melodic tone, and are essential repertoire for every serious Pianist.
