The libretto written by the famous theologian Pierre Prigent is rooted in an authentic comprehension of the religious signification of the Book of the Revelation of John: invitation to faith, hope, confidence, where fear can no more find place. Music expresses here many human feelings, in a wide range of musical ways, but any attempt to represent a cataclysm is absolutely not the purpose of this work.
